BeOne Hamburg GmbH saved – TECCON takes over all jobs and locations
Since its foundation in 2004, BeOne Hamburg GmbH (BeOne) has stood for first-class engineering and IT services for medium-sized companies and large corporations. The company, based in Hamburg and Aachen, combines classic consulting services with engineering thinking. Since 2016, BeOne has been approved as a certified development organization (Design Organization) according to EASA Part-21J and has been a Siemens Solution Partner for the Low-Code Platform MENDIX since 2021. To date, BeOne and its interdisciplinary team have completed over 4,700 projects in the aerospace, renewable energy, automotive, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. The company employs approximately 30 people, including engineers, computer scientists, business economists and technicians.
In May 2022, the management of BeOne Hamburg GmbH filed an application to open insolvency proceedings at the Hamburg-Mitte district court. The causes of insolvency include the loss of major customers in the aviation sector in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the absence of government aid for 2022. Mr. Finn Peters (Baker Tilly) was appointed as provisional insolvency administrator by the Hamburg-Mitte Local Court.
The common goal of the provisional insolvency administrator and the management was a swift and complete restructuring of BeOne’s business. In order to secure the future also in the long term, BeOne was to be sold within the framework of an M&A process. The main objectives of the transaction were to preserve business operations and jobs. Centuros Consult GmbH was exclusively appointed as M&A advisor by the management of BeOne and the preliminary insolvency administration.
At the beginning of August 2022, TECCON Consulting & Engineering GmbH took over the assets and all jobs in an asset deal. We are pleased to have been able to support BeoOne Hamburg GmbH and Baker Tilly in their search for investors and wish all parties involved all the best for the future.
