Successful takeover of pryntad GmbH by Bettertrust Media GmbH

pryntad GmbH, based in Hamburg, has specialized in reshaping print advertising by combining traditional media with modern digital technology. Through its innovative platform, the company enables largely automated and efficient booking of advertisements across more than 13,000 print publications.

Advertisers can choose from various models tailored to their individual needs:

The automated booking processes offered by pryntad create additional revenue opportunities for publishers without significantly increasing distribution efforts. As a pioneer in automated print ad bookings, pryntad plays a key role in driving the digital transformation of print advertising — proving that print media continues to hold relevance in the digital age.

In October 2024, pryntad was forced to initiate insolvency proceedings due to a difficult macroeconomic environment and resulting business challenges. The District Court of Hamburg appointed Dr. Matthias Wolgast from the law firm Münzel & Böhm as insolvency administrator.

Through an accelerated M&A process, BETTERTRUST was identified as a suitable investor. On January 1, 2025, the asset deal to acquire pryntad’s assets was completed. As an established communications agency specializing in PR and reputation management, BETTERTRUST brings the expertise to continue business operations and further develop pryntad’s innovative platform.
