Dynos Group takes over part of Cordier Spezialpapier – 113 jobs saved

After its foundation in 1836, Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH established itself as an important economic factor at the production sites. With over 180 years of company history, the company employs more than 110 people and operates production sites in Bad Dürkheim and Mühltal. On October 28, 2019, the company applied to the Neustadt an der Weinstrasse district court for restructuring under self-administration, whereupon the regular insolvency proceedings were opened on January 1, 2020.

Centuros exclusively supported the self-administration (BBL Rechtsanwälte) and the administrator Dr. Thomas Rittmeister (Reimer Rechtsanwälte) in the M&A process and in the search for investors.

The world’s leading manufacturer of vulcanized fiber, the DYNOS Group based in Troisdorf (near Cologne), is taking over the technical papers division of Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH as part of an asset deal. A successful takeover saved the existence of the business operations at the Bad Dürkheim and Mühltal production sites, as well as 113 jobs.
