Lenk Paper takes over Schleipen paper mill from Cordier Spezialpapiere GmbH

Cordier Spezialpapiere GmbH, with a company history going back more than 180 years, operates production sites in Bad Dürkheim and Mühltal. On October 28, 2019, the company applied to the Neustadt an der Weinstrasse district court for restructuring in self-administration, whereupon the regular proceedings were opened on January 1, 2020.

As of May 1, 2021, the second business area, the Schleipen paper mill (graphic papers) will also find a new investor as part of an asset deal. This produces a wide range of high-quality papers for the graphic sector. Operations will continue and almost all 86 jobs will be retained. Centuros supported the self-administration (BBL Rechtsanwälte) and the administrator Thomas Rittmeister (Reimer Rechtsanwälte) exclusively in the search for investors as part of an M&A process.

Lenk Paper, based in Kappelrodeck (Baden-Württemberg), is taking over the second division (graphic paper) of Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH as part of an asset deal. A successful takeover ensured the continued existence of the business operations at the production site in Bad Dürkheim.

We are pleased that we were able to support Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH in their search for investors and wish Lenk Paper GmbH and the employees they have taken on every success for the future.
