Continuation of business operations at rotec GmbH Berlin Langrehr & Co secured – takeover by aktiefbau GmbH successfully completed

rotec GmbH Berlin Langrehr & Co is a long-established industrial company based in Berlin Tempelhof that has been operating throughout Europe since 1963. The company supplies renowned customers such as Deutsche Bahn and the German Armed Forces and manufactures high-quality semi-finished products from metal and glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP).

In May 2025, the company was forced to file for insolvency due to a difficult economic situation. Dr. Sven Kirchner from the law firm Münzel & Böhm was appointed as provisional insolvency administrator.

As part of a swiftly organized M&A process, aktiefbau GmbH was secured as a strategic investor. In July 2025, aktiefbau acquired the essential company assets and business operations of rotec as part of an asset deal. This step enabled approximately 20 jobs to be preserved.
