Truck supplier MarLen Truck-Styling GmbH will remain

For over 25 years, MarLen Truck-Styling GmbH has been a key player in the production and sale of built-in furniture for trucks and truck accessories. In 2018 the product portfolio was expanded – since then, MarLen Truck-Styling GmbH has also been active in the production and sale of furniture for campers and mobile homes.

On May 4, 2020, the company filed for insolvency at the Pinneberg District Court, whereupon Mr. Jan Ockelmann (SGP Schneider Geiwitz Nord Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH) was appointed preliminary insolvency administrator. Business operations were fully continued in the insolvency proceedings under the supervision of the preliminary insolvency administrator and after the opening of the insolvency proceedings on August 1st, 2020 by the insolvency administrator.

Centuros GmbH supported the insolvency administrator Jan Ockelmann exclusively in the search for investors as part of an M&A process. A successful transaction should safeguard jobs and business operations. In the course of the process, a number of potential investors have expressed their interest in the company. In October 2020, the Elmshorn-based company cdp, Inh. Frank-Heinrich Kröger e.K. found was identified as suitable investor. The company takes over MarLen Truck-Styling GmbH as part of an asset deal. Thanks to the successful takeover, business operations are continued and a large number of jobs are saved.

We are pleased that we were able to support MarLen Truck-Styling GmbH together with SGP Schneider Geiwitz Restructuring North in their search for investors. We wish the cdp, Inh. Frank-Heinrich Kröger e.K., and the employees good luck for the future!
