Odiseya GmbH successfully sold – Sites and 160 jobs saved

Odiseya GmbH, based in Kiel, Germany, has been offering corrosion protection and surface treatment in the field of plant and shipyard services since 2014. A team of around 160 employees offers the short-term implementation of projects and many years of experience. In the field of cruise ships, Odiseya GmbH could show notable references. These include the conservation of the interiors of the “Norwegian Cruise Line”, as well as the “Star Cruises”, two cruise ships with a length of over 300 meters.

In January 2022, Odiseya GmbH filed for provisional insolvency with the Kiel District Court. Mr. Wilhelm Salim Khan Durani of Cornelius + Krage was appointed as insolvency administrator. Centuros supported the insolvency administration in the search for investors within the framework of an M&A process. The jobs and business operations were saved through a management buy-out.
