Logistics company GLS Grünwald Logistik Service GmbH is taken over by the NORDFROST Group – all jobs saved

GLS Grünwald Logistik Service GmbH is a logistics company that has specialized in the storage of preserved foods for over 30 years. It operates two terminals in the Port of Hamburg with a total of around 30,000 square meters of storage space.
In October 2023, GLS Grünwald Logistik Service GmbH filed for insolvency. The Hamburg Local Court appointed lawyer Dominik Montag from Römermann Insolvenzverwalter Rechtsanwalts GmbH as insolvency administrator. With the large logistics provider NORDFROST GmbH & Co. KG, an investor has been found who will take over the two locations and the business operations of GLS Grünwald Logistik Service GmbH as part of an asset deal on February 1, 2024. All jobs will be retained.
