Urgestein Bockwoldt Getriebe finds new investor

For over 100 years, Bockwoldt Getriebemotorenwerk GmbH & Co. KG has been internationally established in the field of manufacturing, sales and assembly of gearboxes and geared motors. Thanks to decades of experience in this segment as well as a large customer base and distribution network, the company from Bad Oldesloe enjoys a high reputation worldwide.

In September 2020, Bockwoldt Getriebemotorenwerk GmbH & Co. KG submitted an application to open insolvency proceedings at the district court in Reinbek. Mr. Peter-Alexander Borchardt (Reimer Rechtsanwälte) was appointed as preliminary insolvency administrator.

Centuros Consult GmbH supported the insolvency administrator Peter-Alexander Borchardt exclusively in the search for investors as part of an M&A process.

As part of the investor process, an agreement was reached with HIMMEL Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Gescher. The specialist in the areas of engine production, gear construction and automation takes over the product range of Bockwoldt GmbH & Co. KG and integrates it into its product portfolio.
