Triathlon retailer Trionik is acquired by Paceheads

The Hamburg-based triathlon specialist store Trionik offers its customers expert advice and high-quality products for triathlon, cycling, running and swimming and also operates a professional bike workshop. In July 2023, the company, which most recently employed 17 people, filed for insolvency at Hamburg District Court due to a combination of supply bottlenecks and a reluctance to buy.

Centuros exclusively supported the insolvency administrator Ingmar Jarchow (TURNER Jarchow Müller Scholz PartGmbB) in the investor process as part of an M&A process.Paceheads Service GmbH took over the brand and the store in Hamburg on October 1. Paceheads, originally known as a lessor of premium sports equipment in the triathlon sector, announced in a press release “The takeover by Paceheads promises a fresh start and offers the opportunity to establish new and modern approaches while retaining Trionik’s expertise and service philosophy.

We are pleased that we were able to support Trionik Multisport GmbH and the insolvency administration in their search for investors and wish the acquirer and the employees every success for the future.
