advocado GmbH saved – GANSEL takes over all jobs and locations

Founded in Greifswald in 2014, advocado GmbH (advocado) went to market in 2018. Advocado is the largest legal tech platform in Germany that connects customers with lawyers for digital legal assistance. The company employs approximately 38 people at its Greifswald and Berlin offices.

The company filed for insolvency with the Stralsund District Court in June 2022.

Centuros exclusively supported the provisional insolvency administrator Dr. Matthias Gellert (GÖRG lawyers) in the investor process as part of an M&A process.

Legal Tech Lab 22 GmbH, a technology company from the Gansel Group, took over the business operations of advocado GmbH as part of an asset deal. Through a successful takeover, the continued existence of the company at the Greifswald and Berlin locations could be saved and the approximately 38 jobs secured.
