Mehldau & Steinfath Feuerungstechnik GmbH saved – investor takes over as of 01.02.2022
Since the company was founded in 1963, Mehldau & Steinfath Feuerungstechnik GmbH has made a name for itself worldwide in the field of firing systems for industry and power plant boilers.
Together with the management of Mehldau & Steinfath Feuerungstechnik GmbH, the SJPP team led by the insolvency administrator Dr. Dietmar Penzlin was able to stabilize and successfully continue the business operations. In order to secure the future in the long term, the group of companies was to be sold as part of an M&A process.
The aim of the transaction was to preserve jobs and business operations.
Centuros exclusively accompanied the M&A process and was able to successfully support Mehldau & Steinfath Feuerungstechnik GmbH in the divestment process. In December 2021, a suitable investor was found in Kuhse Power Solutions GmbH, a portfolio company of MKCP Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. Kuhse Power Solutions GmbH is taking over assets of Mehldau & Steinfath Feuerungstechnik GmbH through its subsidiary, M&S Combustion Technologies GmbH, as part of an asset deal – 50 jobs are to be retained.
